Closing thoughts
At $1500, it is difficult to justify the extra expense of the MP7 over cheaper SMGs. That said, it is strong in most categories, with good damage, accuracy, armour penetration and rate of fire.
One lesser known drawback is its relatively high penalty to movement speed, which will slow the wielder by 12%. For reference, the movement penalty of the MP5-SD is only 6% and the MP9 4%. Moving slower with a weapon type (SMG) that otherwise generally has an advantage when moving is an awkward combination.
The MP9 is a stunningly effective weapon. On paper it is one of the strongest choices in the game, with a stellar rate of fire, speedy reload time and cheap cost. Oddly, it is also very accurate while jumping. A safe option for a Counter-Terrorist, it is almost never a bad purchase.
