Closing thoughts
The Desert Eagle - or "Deagle" - is powerful and accurate with a frighteningly high armour penetration and damage. Despite being a pistol, it is capable of duelling any other weapon as it is capable of killing with a single shot to the head, even through a helmet and at long ranges. However, while wielding the pistol you have a 8% movement speed reduction, compared to the 4% of most other pistols and it is also the most expensive pistol at $700.
Perhaps its biggest drawback to most players is the high skill required to use it - it is difficult to control due to its high recoil, inaccuracy when moving, and the length of time that takes to settle. Master this and you'll be well served.
The Tec-9 does high damage even through armour, but its real advantage is its fantastic first shot accuracy while moving or jumping. This allows a Terrorist player to power onto a bomb site while tapping at enemies.
