Closing thoughts
The Desert Eagle - or "Deagle" - is powerful and accurate with a frighteningly high armour penetration and damage. Despite being a pistol, it is capable of duelling any other weapon as it is capable of killing with a single shot to the head, even through a helmet and at long ranges. However, while wielding the pistol you have a 8% movement speed reduction, compared to the 4% of most other pistols and it is also the most expensive pistol at $700.
Perhaps its biggest drawback to most players is the high skill required to use it - it is difficult to control due to its high recoil, inaccuracy when moving, and the length of time that takes to settle. Master this and you'll be well served.
The P2000 is one of the free starting pistol options for the Counter-Terrorist team. Less frequently used than the USP-S, the P2000 makes up for the loss of a silencer with an extra bullet. In any case, it performs better than the Terrorist default.
